Urgent Massage During National Lockdown Jan/Feb 2021

You can book a massage now if:

This might include, for example, clients who have an injury or health condition that is currently causing them severe pain or mobility issues, or is severely impacting their quality of life.

- You have muscle tension that is causing you extreme prolonged musculoskeletal pain which can not be managed with self-care

- You have an injury where massage will help to ease pain and aid healing

- You are seeking massage to help with a mental health condition

Please be aware that some massages have been adapted to meet the current government guidelines. They may be different to what you have had previously, so please read the new descriptions before booking.

Sports massage (60 min only): to treat severe muscle soreness, muscle pain or an injury

Remedial Massage (60 min only): for pain and injury management

Pregnancy Massage (60 min only): to address muscular aches and pains brought on by pregnancy; supports common complaints like PGP, SPD and sciatica.

Stress Reduction Massage (60 or 90 min): A slow relaxing massage designed to activate the parasympathetic nervous system and reduce the flight or fight response. During government restrictions, stress reduction massage is only available for clients who have a recognised mental health condition.

If you are new to The Holistic Massage Company and do not have an existing medical condition or injury already documented on your consultation form, I will need to have a telephone consultation with you to ensure that your reason for booking fits with current government guidelines.

Unfortunately, if the reason for massage is believed to be booked for non-medical reasons, it will not be able to go ahead until lockdown has been eased.

I am now asking all clients to wear a face mask during the whole of their appointment where possible. Please bring one if you have one available.
